Blood Ocean is one of many artistic monikers of John Milano. As Blood Ocean – he is one man creating songs that take the listener down into the depths of a woozy drone-pop thermosphere. Blood Ocean’s side sounds like shadowy weak-signal pop coming through a warped pirate radio station. Ridiculously catchy, yet avant-garde, Blood Ocean make songs that are accessible while still remaining healthily in the bizarre. Glam-soaked new wave with tripped-out murky ghost-beats – it’s the flirty and moody raw soul that those of us familiar with Milano's work know and love.

Spreaders are a hyper-noise avant-garde project that has consistently shown over the years that they know how to push envelopes.
